Alan H. Litwin was elected to the Board of Directors on July 27, 2010 and is currently the Board Chair. He is the founder and Managing Director of KLR, the 82nd largest CPA firm in the US as well as Envision Technology Advisors, LLC. His business involvements also include being a board member of the Leading Edge Alliance and the RI Public Expenditure Council. Alan is also Vice Chair of the board of directors of Lifespan Corporation and all Lifespan hospitals and serves as Audit Committee Chair. He is also a member of the Federal tax committee of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he is a member of Cherrystone Angel Investment Group, Sky Ventures, Boulevard Investment Group, SideCar Angel Group and the RI Commodores. He was formerly a director of the Jewish Federation board, past chair of the Board of Trustees of the Miriam Hospital and the Miriam Hospital Foundation, past Chair of the Professional Advisory Council at the Rhode Island Foundation, a past chairman of the Board of Trustees of Miriam Hospital, formerly Chair of the City of Providence Task Force on Economic Development, past Board chair of the Jewish Community Center , past Board Chair of the Wheeler School, and is involved with many other entities in the community. Alan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, RI Society of Certified Public Accountants, MA Society of Certified Public Accountants, RI Estate Planning Council and Medical Group Management Association. He has a BA in Economics from Lafayette College, a MS in Taxation from Bryant University and a MBA from Rutgers University.
