We’re committed to our policyholders, our agents, and our employees to ensure you receive the service you need during this unprecedented time. We value the health and safety of our agents, our policyholders, and our employees. We are continuing to provide you with the service, security, and stability you deserve.

As we navigate this uncertain period together, we’d like you to be aware of the following:

Providence Cares Credit

Today we announced financial relief for policyholders on their personal automobile policy renewal. For policyholders with personal automobile policies in Rhode Island, Maine, and New Hampshire renewing between June 15, 2020 and June 14, 2021, you will receive a credit on your renewal approximating 15% of two months of your expiring personal automobile policy premium. All changes are automatic and can be confirmed on the Declarations page of your policy documents. No further action is required – we’re here for you.

Coverage Expansion

We’re expanding our coverage for personal automobile policies to include the delivery of essential goods, including food delivery. Any personal automobile policy language that excludes coverage for the delivery of goods will be temporarily modified from April 1, 2020 through May 31, 2020.

Giving Back

In addition to supporting our employees, agents, and policyholders during this challenging time, we’re supporting local agencies responding to and providing relief for those affected by the COVID-19 crisis through a donation to the United Way.

Billing

If your employment or business has been impacted due to COVID-19 and you are unable to pay your bill, please contact us at 877.763.1800, or email us at CustomerService@ProvidenceMutual.com. Please include your policy number and phone number when emailing us.

We will work with you to adjust or pause billing schedules, accept partial payments, and extend cancellation dates.

We are not charging late fees and are not collecting insufficient fund fees.

Policy Documentation

If you need to view your policy documents, ID cards, or manage your policy, you can do so on our Policyholder Portal.

Inspections

If you’re scheduled to receive a physical home inspection of your property, our representatives or your independent agent may contact you regarding our self-service platform. If you have any questions, please contact us.
