A Message from the President: Happy Thanksgiving

A headshot of Providence Mutual President and CEO Sandy Parrillo

For all of us, this year was a year like no other. We continue to battle a global pandemic, endured economic disruption, witnessed social unrest, and a divisive political environment. Although these challenges impacted many aspects of our lives, we were given the opportunity to pause, reexamine, and find a new sense of appreciation for what we may have taken for granted.

This week, we will celebrate Thanksgiving, albeit differently than in past years. Rather than sitting around the table with extended family and friends, we may enjoy one another’s company through a video call. The physical distance from our loved ones may be painful, but the pain will not last forever. We will all heal. We will all join together again. In time, this pandemic will end.

Now more than ever, let’s reflect on all the blessings in our lives —both large and small — this Thanksgiving. Our lives may be forever changed, but we, as individuals, communities, and as a nation, will heal, recover, and move forward. Let’s reflect and give thanks for how quickly our communities came together to support one another. Let’s give thanks for our front-line workers. Let’s give thanks for one another. Although challenging and riddled with uncertainty, this pandemic has forced us to slow down, reevaluate, and appreciate the small yet important moments in life with the people we love. This Thanksgiving and throughout the holiday season, let’s show our gratitude to one another.

From the Providence Mutual family to yours, we thank you for your loyalty, support, and for choosing Providence Mutual. We’re able to deliver on our promises of service, security, and stability because of the commitment, dedication, and support from our agents, our policyholders, our business partners, and our employees. May you have a safe, healthy, and happy Thanksgiving.

Sincerely,

Sandy Parrillo
